Major cities grow continuously and expand into countryside,? what problems are caused due to the cities development to the young people living in the city, what are the reasons and what solutions do you have? The urban sprawl sweeps farmland and countryside off the map, replacing them with skyscrapers and highways. Bewildered by the drastic changes, young people are completely at a loss in dealing with many newly-rising problems. The most knotty problem for facing young people who just set foot on cities is how to adapt themselves to the new environment psychologically. Young farmers forced off their farmland go to big cities to find their fortune. But most of them feel a beleaguered minority and become an invisible group in the metropolitan. Another problem which may escape our attention is that young newcomers may lack the skills essential for survival in big cities. In the past to grasp some farming techniques was enough to earn a comfortable living. However, automated machine and high technologies put them in confusion. Most of henceforth get unemployed and wander in the street aimlessly. What’s more, their social bonding is extremely limited. Modern cities are characterized by indifference and mutual hostility. Young people may get stuck in the swamp of humanity. The solutions are two-fold. First, government should take their lead in dealing with the problems by providing appropriate training. This practice may render young people some skills helpful for them to find jobs. Secondly, the government can resort to some preferential policies which cut the fees to support youngsters’ startups.
