The QT310 charge-transfer (“QT’”) touch sensor IC is a self-contained digital IC capable of detecting proximity, touch, or fluid level when connected to a corresponding type of electrode. It projects sense fields through almost any dielectric, like glass, plastic, stone, ceramic, and wood. It can also turn metal-bearing objects into intrinsic sensors, making them respond to proximity or touch.
