NumericalSimulationon theFlood BackwaterofSkew BridgePiers AbstractWiththespeedingupofthespeedofurbanization,populationdenselyincreasing, trafficproblembecomingprominent;however,theexistingurbanstreetsexpand difficultly,trafficalongthelinedemolitionchangesverydifficult,thereforeelevated roadbecomefirstchoice,evacuationtrafficdensitytoimprovethetransportation efficiency.Inthemunicipalroaddesign,selectionoftheelevatedroadisoften constrainedbythetopography,terrain,geologicalandeconomicconditionshaveto adoptlarge-angleobliquewayacrosstheriversoralongtheriverchannellayout elevatedlines.Urbanelevatedroadareusuallyhavemanyrowsofbridgepiers,when withobliquerivers,duetothepierisnot inthesamecrosssection,theupstream buildinginterferenceeffectonabutmentdownstreamextrusionflowalongthe intensifying,downstreamoftheexistenceofthepiersandtheupstreambridgepierat thesametimealsohasastrongreaction,thushasformedtheupstreamordownstream bridgepierofwaterinteraction,mutualinfluence,haselevatedroadwaylineofbridge pierinfluenceonriverflooddischargeismuchmorecomplicatedthantheorthogonal bridgecrossingthebridgepier.Atpresent,Forordinaryorthogonalbridgepiersintheriverwillproducewater blocking,whenthewaterflowingthroughthewater-blockingcross-section,theflow ratewillincrease,thewaterwillhaveacertainincrease,thewaterdepthcalculationmethodofthegeneralsurfacecurvemethodandempiricalformulamethod.Water surface curve method generally higher calculation accuracy, applies to completeinformation；Empiricalformulamethodresults valuemainlydepends ontheexperiencefactor,thecoefficientvalueshadagreaterinfluenceontheaccuracyofresults,ahuman factorismore,sothecalculationvaluedeviation.But intheengineeringaccuracy requirementisnothigh,cangenerallyuse.Butfortheelevatedroadobliquerowsof pier,effectsonfloodcontrolthanorthogonalbridgepierismorecomplex.Because QingdaoChongqingroadwideninganddownstreamaddingnewskewbridge,resultin BaishaRiverareadecreases,bridgefrontbackwatersuperposition.Duetothe complexityofskewbridge
