Grug (瓜哥） For the change, like many other new things ，the Grug is very responsible.He is going to assure the safety of his family Eep(小伊） Eep a muscular and ambitious girl ,she is Strong,curious about the outside world. She wants to know more about the strange things. Guy(盖) He ss a new mankind with a clever brain. He often comes up with a lot of strange ideas. he has made a lot of inventions. Every day he wants to contact the people and things that are new to him. Eep is a girl born in a family of Neanderthal Cavemen. They live in the pre-historic time. The story is about how her family survive in the difficult environment. Grug makes strict rules for the overprotective family. Grug never allows them to explore. This irritates the bored and adventurous Eep, and when the family falls asleep after dark, she ignores her fathers advice and leaves the cave when she sees a light moving outside the cave. Seeking the lights source, she meets Guy, an intelligent Cro-Magnon caveboy. She becomes fascinated(着迷的) with the fire he manages to create and is eager （热衷）to learn more. He tells her about his theory that the world is reaching its end and asks her to join him. She refuses and Guy leaves, but before leaving he gives her a noise-making shell to call him if she is in danger. Shortly afterwards, Eep is then caught by Grug, his father brings Eep back home, planning to keep her in the cave for the rest of her life. An earthquake then occurs, making everyone running for shelter(躲避的地方). When the cave is destroyed by falling rocks Grug takes his family into the deep forest to find a new cave to live in.
