⑧3:去了415AbstractHumanists have paid a lot of attention to the re)atíonship between language and gender. But gender study of language ín Chína ís confined within the theory of westem gender study. The study is just focused on the introduction of westem theory，wíth theforeig川 languages as the main mater?als. And thus there ìs a lack of complete andthorough study and description of gender difference in Chinese language as well as a lack of a contrastive study between Ch?nese and foreign language. On the basis of concreteobservation and analysis of langauge materials ，this thωis tries to choose twocontemporary writings as its )anguage materials，namely，One Ha)f is the Flame and the other Seawater by Wang Shuo，a male writer and Nowere to Say Farewell by Chen Ran， a female wríler. The materials are dividied into such three kinds as character language ， narrative language，and descriptive language.
