STUDYANDIMPROVEMENTOFASPECIFICOPEN-SOURCEIMPLEMENTATIONFORDNSABSTRACTDomainNameSystemisthecoretechnologyoftheInternet,whichcanprovideresolutionserviceonmutualmappingbetweendomainnamesandIPaddresses.HumanedomainnamesprovideaconvenientwayforInternetuserstoaccessthenet,anddomainnameresolutiontechnologyhasbecomeanimportantprerequisiteforthesmoothfunctioningofmajorityofInternetapplicationsandservices.However,sincetheoriginofDNS,manyflawsonperformanceandsecurityofthesystemhavebeenexposed,andtherefore,manytypesofrelatednetworkattacks,haveleftclassiccasesinthelonghistoryofnetworksecurity,justbecauseoftheirgreatdestructivepowerandwidescopeofinfluence.TheynotonlybringunstablefactorstotheInternet,butalsocausemuchthreattothecurrentnetworkinthecontextofinformationsocietyandnationalsecurity.Inthisthesis,manyeffortshavebeenmadefortheresearchontheimplementationofopen-sourceDNS,forthepurposeofimprovingitsefficiency,aswellasintensifyingDNSsecurity.Inthisthesis,standardDNSprotocolsareanalyzed,whichisthetheoreticalbasisforfurtherstudyonakindofopen-sourceDNS.Atthesametime,Unbound,akindofrepresentativeDNSserversoftwareischosenastheobjectofstudyandthenitsprincipleofimplementation,domainnameresolutionmechanismandworkflowisanalyzed,aswellasitssoftwarearchitectureandtechnicalfeatures.Viatheusageofdifferentmeasurementtools,thedomainnamehashalgorithmintheimplementationischosenastheobjecttooptimize,adoptingthecompletehashonthewholedomainname第III页IIIratherthaniterativehashoneachlabel.Thefeasibilityoftheoptimizationstrategyistestedthroughcodetestsinthesimulatedenvironment,andtheresultindicatesthatthesampleofpeakvalueofperformanceisimproved.Moreover,itspossibleinfluenceoncollisionperformanceisalsoanalyzed.Ontheotherhand,inordertostudyDNSsecurity,DNSSECprotocolsarealsoanalyzedindepth,aswellasmanykindsofpopularDNSattacksinrecentyears.MoreeffortsarefocusedonDNScachepoisoningattack,specifyingtheprincipleofitsimplementation,andmakingcomprehensivecomparisonofadvantagesanddisadvantagesbetweenvarioussolut
