AbstractWiththeprogressofthemobilecommunicationandwirelessInternet,thewirelesstransmissiontechnologyhasdevelopedrapidly.Theresearchinthewirelesscommunicationfieldhasbeenfocusingonthecommunicationsystemwhichhasthehighspectrumefficiencyandperformance.Multiple-inputmultiple-output(MIMO)systemcanachievemuchhigherspectrumefficiencythanthetraditionalsingle-inputsingle-output(SISO)systembyusingthechannelstateinformation(CSI)toallocatepowerreasonably.Inordertoobtainhighersystemcapacity,theexistingpowerallocationschemesassumedperfectCSIinthetransmitter,orobtainedthepartialCSIbychannelestimationandfeedback.CSIisakeyparameterwhichaffectstheentirewirelesssystemperformance.TheexistingchannelestimationandfeedbackmethodsaredifficulttogetfullCSIinthetransmitter.Duetothebigsystemoverhead,theyarenotsuitablefortheresource-constrainedsystem.TheefficientandaccurateCSIestimationandfeedbackschemecanprovidequalityofservicesforthewirelessnetwork.Compressedsensing(CS)theorycanrecovertheoriginalsignalutilizingveryfewsamples.WhentheCStheoryiscombinedtotheCSIacquisitionstage(includingchannelestimationandfeedback)inthetransmitterofMIMOsystem,itcanuselittleinformationtorecoverchannelimpulseresponseaccurately.Thus,thespectrumefficiencyandtheCSIacquisitionperformancecanbeimproved.ApowerallocationmethodbasedonthedeterminateobservationCStheoryforMIMOsystemisproposedandresearched.Firstly,thedeterminateobservationCStechnologyisintroducedtotheCSIacquisitionforMIMOsystem,whichmeansthatthereceivercanestimatenearlycompleteMIMOchannelimpulseresponsefromveryfewinformation.Thenatthereceiver,theestimatedchannelimpulseresponseisobservedbydeterminatematrixandfeedbacktothetransmitter,sothatthetransmittercangetanearlyperfectrecoveryoftheCSIforMIMOsystem.ThesimulationresultsshowthatthecombinationofCSandtheCSIacquisitioncanachievenearlycompleteCSIinthetransmitterforMIMOsystem.Thedesignofthedeterminateobservationmatrixcanreducethecomplexityofobservationmatrixstructureandlowerthedifficultyofhardwareimplementationonthe
