华中科技大学硕士学位论文华中科技大学硕士学位论文II摘 要地处南疆边陲、与大陆隔海相望的海口，因之得天独厚的地理环境条件，加之 自古以来海纳百川的开放城市姿态，令其在近代特殊历史发展过程中，曾经绽放盛 极一时的绝代风华，并由此贻赠后世风情洋溢的老城区特色风貌。而其中的近代公共建筑，就设计特色角度看，更不失为极具突出性与代表性的 佳作与珍品。本论文立足风貌统一的海口老城区界定范围，首先着眼纵观其历史沿革与地理 变迁的脉络，从整体上把握其近代公共建筑形成的先天背景。同时，通过亲历现场走街窜巷的深入调研，从掌握的第一手海口老城区现状资 料中抽丝剥茧，筛选出最具表征性的五大经典案例：老海关大楼、“八角楼”（现云 氏会馆）、“五层楼”（海口大厦）、大亚旅店和泰昌隆旅店。尔后，针对精选建筑个案，联系时代政治局势的动荡、商贸经济的发展、建筑 技术的进步、多元文化的碰撞、以及生活方式的转变等近代急剧变化的各项环节逐 一解析。在深刻理解其与时代特殊性休戚相关的基础上，透过建筑设计的视角，归 纳与提炼出海口老城区近代公共建筑善于应势择址、融合骑楼、串联天井、灵活布 局、以及多元纹饰的五大特色。最后，结合特殊时期所孕育的特殊地域氛围，进一步探讨该特色表象背后所蕴 含的丰富文化内涵，即本土文化所主导的气候与地理环境适应性，商贸文化所主导 的城市与建筑空间突破性，以及华侨文化所主导的结构与装饰审美趋向性。关键词：海口 老城区 近代公共建筑 建筑特色 地域文化IIIIAbstractLocated in the southernmost part of China, separated by the sea, the city of Haikou has seen better days since the extraordinary modern era, owing to the unique geographical condition and the open character of the city. Then it left us a certain heritage that effuses amorous feelings.In terms of design features, public buildings are the most representative above all else.Based on the defining of the old city district, this thesis chooses reviewing the evolvement of Haikou’s history and geography to begin with, so it can show the background of its formation as a whole.Meanwhile, by carrying out in-depth research around the district personally, five public buildings which are considered the most classical of all have been screened out as follow: the old Customs House, the Octagon House (now used as the Yun’s Hall), the Five-story Building (formally named the Haikou Mansion), the Daya Hotel, and the Taichanglong Hotel.Then, these five architecture cases are unscrambled one by one by means of relating with the sharp change of politics, economy, technology, culture, and social life at that epoch.
