英文演讲稿:We are good friends 　good morning,teachers and grade mates! my name is mayuanjie, my english name is mary! i am from class 2, grade 5! today, my topic is we are good friends. 　firstly, i think books are our good friends. i remember when i was a little girl, i was attracted deeply by all kinds of colorful booklets. while i was looking 　at the vivid pictures, i was starting to learn some fruit and vegetable words like orange, apple, pearl, banana, watermelon, tomato and some animal 　words like monkey, elephant, lion, giraffe, rabbit, cock, dog, duck, cat and fish after my parents. growing up to a little bit bigger girl, the thin books for 　kids became my best friends, from which i learnt　　and a b c. i also knew that besides chinese and english, there were other languages like 　french, german, japanese and others. with the same memory as you and me, up to now, the books are with us everyday. as the students in grade 5, 　we learnt much more knowledge from the books than their weight of 6 kilos. there are many other interesting　　can read stories about others, 　visit other countries far away from us and know the more modern technologies from books. all these make us be so curious about the world we are living in! 　so i guess you agree with me that books are our good friends. 　secondly, i think teachers and classmates are our good friends too. when i was three years old,i got teachers and classmates. the teachers teach us 　knowledges and all kinds of habits of life. you see, i have learnt how to wash face, dress myself, tie up shoes when i was in kindergarten. i knew how to 　say hello and salute to people when i was in pre-school class. and i started to know how to respect teachers and understand 　parents when i went to primary school. yes, sometimes, the teachers punished us like our parents but most times they are like our good friends who take care 　of us and help us. the classmates are our good friends and always m 　ore than that. you always have some secrets. th
