Even those great architects of the International Movement limited themselves to a few sophisticated machine specialties, ignoring the great possibilities of the landscape (except as decoration). Even while they were preaching collaboration, they were limiting it to certain fields. This had a narrowing effect and is evident in the work accomplished.
