Many research estimated that 25% HAIs has been connected with waterborne pathogens，while 14%-50% isolates from patients colonized/infected with Pseudomonas aeruginosa present the same clone with the isolates from tap water. Health-care associated waterborne infection has become an independent research field in oversea. However, it is at the stage of beginning in China.
