1）when，while，as ① when可表动作同时发生或先后发生，从句动词延续非延续都行。 如： When he finished the work, he had a little rest． while 表动作同时发生，从句动词必须可延续。 如： Please keep quiet while she was sleeping． as表动作同时发生；从句动词延续非延续都行，常指一边…一边，as还可以说明两种正发展或变化的情况，有“随着”的意思，表时间的推移。 如:He sang as he went along． As I get older, I have more confidence. 3) until, till until和till 在肯定句中译为 “直到……为止”，主句要用延续性动词 在否定句中 译为 “直到……才”，主句动词不受限，常用终止性动词，这时till和until可用before替换。如： I waited till／ until he arrived． We wont start until Bob comes． =We wont start _____ Bob comes． 4) as soon as 表示主句发生的动作发生在从句动作之后， 意为“一…就…”。如： My brother went out as soon as I got home. Ill phone you as soon as I arrive in Beijing. 5）since： 表示 “自从…以来”，从句中常用____时，主句用____________________时,主句动词要用_________动词.（对since 引导的时间状语提问要用how long).如： Where have you been since I saw you last time？ 4) 主句为一般现在时，从句也用现在范畴的时态： I often read after I get up in the morning. 5）主句为一般过去时，从句也用过去范畴的时态： I liked reading when I was young. She was watching TV while I was reading. 4）“祈使句 + and (or)+ 陈述句” 在意思上相当于条件状语从句。例如： Hurry up, or you’ll be late. =If you don’t hurry up, you’ll be late. Study hard and you will pass the exam. =If you study hard, you will pass the exam. 5)用介词with, without可以把条件状语从句改写成简单句： If there is no water, the fish may die. = Fish may die without water.
