An applied accelerativealgorithm ofgray scaleHoughtransformbasedon the informationfeaturesofthetarget is proposed. This algorithmmakes the burdenof the operation decreasedby four quantitydegrees. The resultofexperimentshowsthatthismethodfordetecting andextractingthecenter lineofthefirefightingwater columnisfastandef- fective,andthissystemhasprovedto be asuccessful application ofthe image processing inthefieldofthefirefighting simulative train- ing.
