The distin guished difference betw een species w as observed and the characters of pap illae of the three w ild rice species w ere described. Fo r the hy brids of cultivated rice w ith w ild rice , the m icromo rpho logy of lemm a w as influenced by the parents. The trait of co lum n w idth and the distance betw een pap illae unit cam e from the w ild rice parent ; the distance betw een peaks and peak num bers took after the cultivated rice; lastly, the density of pap illae w as superio r to bo th parents.
