Mathematics Admissions Test (MAT) 数学系入学考试 The Mathematics Admissions Test (MAT) The Admissions Testing Service is working in partnership with the University of Oxford to administer the Mathematics Admissions Test (MAT). The University of Oxford will continue to be responsible for: l test development and setting the paper l the marking and moderation process for test scripts l carrying out research into the test’s validity. The Admissions Testing Service will be responsible for: l allowing centres to register their candidates for the MAT, via the Admissions Testing Service’s secure Entries Extranet l providing access to the Admissions Testing Service’s open centre network worldwide, for candidates who do not have a test centre where they can take the test l printing and dispatching the test papers l collating and sorting returned test scripts l assisting with marketing communications and customer support for the MAT. 数学系入学考试 (MAT) MAT 是由剑桥大学招生考试服务中心与牛津大学合作，推出的数学系入学考试。 牛津大学负责： l 考题设计和出卷 l 给试卷打分和审核 l 对考试有效性实施研究。 招生考试服务中心负责： l 通过招生考试服务中心的安全申请外网让各考试中心为考生注册MAT l 为附近没有考试中心的考生提供全球中心网络进行考试 l 打印和派送考试试卷 l 校对和整理被送回的考卷 l 帮助进行MAT 营销传播和客户支持。 About the MAT The MAT is a 2-hour 30-minute admissions test for both Mathematics, Computer Science or any of their joint degrees. Some questions are designed to test mathematical ability and others are designed to test aptitude for Computer Science. Candidates are reminded to read the test instructions carefully to see which questions to complete. The test paper is set with the aim of being approachable by all students, including those without Further Mathematics A Level (or equivalent).
