the the Study of the Planning Method and Its Application for the Social and Public Parking Area in the Town CBD Abstract Along with the economic development，the expansion of city size，the increase of population density and the dramatic increase in the number of cars，the parking prOIbl咖becomes a very serious traffic problem．While the social and public parking area is considered to be the place which provides the public parking service，it has all extremely far-reaching impact on the traffic in the city，it has some theoretical and practical significance to conduct a comprehensive study on its planning· Witll ref打ence to the domestic and international research in this paper，the social and public parking area is comprehensively studied in the town CBD．Based on the analysis of the parking data which is investigated in the CBD of Hefei city, some parking laws on motor vehicles in the city are summed up．On the basis of the balance model of the supply of parking facilities——the capacity of road network， while the existing model of the parking demand forecast iS summarized，the parking demand——supply model is amended．The existing model which the parking area lS located and planned is summed．While the main factors which have impacts on the locating planning is considered，the model which the social and public parking area is 10cated alld planned is amended，and the evaluation method is given．Finally,the planning of the social and public parking area in the CBD of Hefei city is taken as an example of empirical study，its process：the investigation and analysis of the parking area—the forecast of the parking demand—the locating planning of the parking area —the evaluation of the locating planning．The results show that the planning is better， and can meet the parking demand of the region in the planning year· Keyword：the social and public parking area；parking behavior；parking demand； locating model 插图清单图2．1 插图清单 图2．1 工作日和周日停车目的比较图 一12 图2．2 停车目的图 13 图2．3 工作日和周日停车时间比较图 ．．14 图2．4 工作日和周日
