He graduated from Chengdu University of Technology in Cartography and Geographic Information Engineering major and was granted the Master Degree in June, 2010. Abstract With the recent development of the infrastructure construction in China, the construction of the architecture reaches a new peak without exception. For the architectural engineers, he current design task is very heavy and the mount of drawing working is large, so they are in dire need of the software of CAD which can raise the efficiency of design significantly. In the building construction process, settlement observation can assure construction quality and personnel safety which takes on the very fresh and clear characteristics such as high technique contents, complex operation and large drawing workload. In addition to acquire measured data in the field, engineers have to concentrate on the complex drawing all day. They have no time to concentrate on studying the optimization of the architectural scheme. Therefore, architectural designers need urgently a settlement mapping software which can be purchased at low price, learned easily and increased in efficiency. According to these circumstances, this thesis aims at this kind of requirement of the building settlement observation, and making use of Visual C # 2005 and ObjectARX2008 SDK, based the Access database, develops software of results expression module in AutoCAD 2008 environment - Settlement Observation Module 2010.
