中山大学硕士学位论文 中山大学硕士学位论文 《基于关系数据库的XML数据管理》 本文所提出的基于DTD的稀疏编号模式有效地降低了由于XML文档内部数据 的插入而导致的编号重整的次数及规模，大大提高了XML数据操作的总体效 率；而基于DOM的动态查询处理模型在保持较高的文档查询效率的同时也的 确提高了数据操作的兼容性、灵活性和便易性，成功克服了支持Ⅺv见的SQL 查询所存在的弊端。 关键词： XML、DTD、编号模式、路径表达式、文档树、DOM、查询 中山大学硕士学位论文 中山大学硕士学位论文 《基于关系数据库的XML数据管理》 The Management ofXML Data on Relational Database Computer Software and Theory Name：Li Hong Supervisor：Li Lei Abstract XML(Exteusible Markup Language)is a semi-structured data format used to present and exchange data on the Intemet．With the rapid development of XML application,how to manage XML files has become people’S research focus． Considering XML files’mgularity,two kinds ofXML databases have been promoted, one is NXD(Native XML Database)，the other is XEDB(xML·Enabled Database)． Since NXD is a new msealch area，many critical techniques and problems ale still in research,it is quite impossible for it to be widely used in recent future．While comparatively,with SO many valuable techniques and experience on traditional databases，XEDB is able to be widely used in quite a short time．And due to its compatibility to traditional databases，XEDB is much more popular than NXD． The current research on XEDB is mainly around the following aspects：the XML files’storage in traditional databases，the rapid locating of XML files and the realization of XML operations in traditional databases．Based on peoples’previous work，the thesis continues the research on the management of XML data in XERDB CXlvlL-Enabled Relational Database)．And the research focuses in this thesis are on the rapid locating ofXML files and on the realization ofXML queries in a relational database．As to the rapid locating ofXML files，this thesis promotes a DTD—concious sparse numbering scheme．Based on the DTD—concious sparse range function defined in this thesis，our scheme is SO universal that it iS able to be combined with other numbering schemes，e
