The central core of the site- the Clubhouse- is pierced by the Entry Boulevard and the axis from the Retail Area. The Central Core is protected by a buffer - a ring of forest creating both a barrier and a unique environment at the same time. The Forest Ring provides a unique environment in this area - enclosed and private yet allowing particular views and spaces for those using this space. These outdoor spaces within this environment are different from all other areas within the site making this are special. The main vehicle route through the site runs around the outside the Forest Ring. The forest provides a particular driving experience as well as a unique living environment. Surrounding the Road are the other residential courtyards and the Retail Area. The Retail area is another general access area of the site with is strongly linked through the Forest Ring with the Clubhouse piercing the Central Core. The Retail Area provides another link, like the Entry Boulevard, with external sites - allowing access through these areas to the Clubhouse. The final layer - the Residential Courtyards provide another level of use - private use. These are the internal spaces within each group of buildings. These spaces provides areas for both active play and for passive activ
