Empirical studies show that since the reform and opening up, while rapid economic development in Yunnan Province, the gap also expanding. Using Spss statistical software to process the panel data in the period 1981-2011, which analyzed the current situation of the income gap in Yunnan Province . It led to this gap from many factors. And we put forward the corresponding countermeasures to it.. namely promoting economic development, increasing the urban and the rural residents per capita in Yunnan GDP, optimizing the industrial structure to promote the first industrial upgrading, and increasing financial support for agriculture , meanwhile strengthen the inclination of public policy to the rural residents.
