The maj or driving forces that affected the trend of cultivated land change was pointed out . With the regression analysis , a multi- variate regression model was set up and result showed that population , urbanization level and per- capita GDP were the most i mportant driving forces affect- ing the trend of cultivated land change . The authors believed that a scientific basis for sustainable agricultural development of this region was provided .
