Communication comes from a Latin word, which means “to make common.” Communication is considered a process because it is an activity, exchange, or set of behaviorsnot an unchanging, static product, in which we participate. Culture involves tangible forms or structures ( products) that individual members of the culture (persons) use in various interactions (practices) in specific social circumstances and groups (communities) in ways that reflect their values, attitudes and beliefs (perspectives).
