Abstarct ABSTRACT In the actual wireless digital communication, the system can not meet the Nyquist lossless transmission conditions, thus in the presence of the receiver inter-symbol interference (ISI). The causes of ISI can be summarized as: the limited bandwidth of the filters and the multi-path propagation of the signal. The presence of the ISI will cause the symbol misjudgment, which need to study a method of signal processing technology in order for decreasing or eliminating the ISI. Due to fact that the channel characteristics change over time, this technology must be adaptive. Adaptive blind equalization technique is a powerful weapon to solve the ISI. The new idea of the blind equalization has been widely used in the field of communications, earth sciences, sonar and radar. Researchers are focused in blind equalization study about the convergence rate, steady-state mean square error, complexity, and the difficulty to realize algorithm. In this paper, author launched a study of the traditional blind equalization techniques from the view of a structural optimization and jointing multi-antenna technology on the basis of their predecessors, for the two performance indicators of convergence rate and steady-state mean square error improved. At the same time, the convergence rate and steady-state mean square error of these two indicators is a contradiction.
