3.7.6 Node 6 South Gate Village 节点六 南部门户村 South Gate Village would be developed as a highway based ‘service’ community. This area would be the support community for the development housing resort workers and employ- ees and provided associated services including residential areas, schools, civic buildings, medical clinic etc. The commercial function of this area would be the creation of an easy access tourism and souvenir shopping destination with ready access off of the highway for tour buses and op- erations. An area for Boao to display its wares in the form of fresh produce, locally produced products (wine, food), as well as a cultural component and location for local people to sell crafts and handiwork.
