Teaching procedures: Step1 Lead in—introduce the topic Introducing the topic by setting a scene. Introduce wechat and friend circle to the class. Step2 Learn the new words Task One: students are required to describe themselves by using one sentence, then introduce the word “different, differently and describe” Task Two: students are required to describe the image of the teacher in the Wechat and the real teacher. Then introduce the word “real”. Step3 Reading Task One: Read the first paragraph Students are required to find out what a police artist usually do in daily work. (2) Read the second paragraph Students are required to find the supportive evidence of the difficulties of being a police artist. Read the whole passage and work in groups to find out the meaning of the pronounces Step 4 Speaking and Writing Practice Activity: Write a Criminal wanted Students work in groups to help Joe Brown to finish writing the criminal wanted according to the given photo.
