The earliest chest pain unit was established in Qilu hospital of Shandong province in 2002. Two hospitals in Beijing and shanghai respectively established green channel for AMI patients in 2005~2006. Until 2010, under the leading of Prof Hu Dayi, Chinese Consensus on Chest pain centers was aligned and released, which initiated the development process of CPC in china.
