Some think it is too late to do anything about it while others suggest taking effective actions to solve it. Discuss both views and give your own opinion. Over the years, human activities, such as pollution, deforestation, and urbanization have greatly narrowed the space for other species on the earth, or even threatened their existence. Some believe the damage is irreversible and thus we could do nothing, while others persist in carrying out effective measures to alleviate the current situation. To make a wise decision, a careful discussion of the above two views is needed. Throughout history, varieties of examples may serve as good reasons to those pessimists.
