Nowadays parents learn more from their children than the other way around. Acknowledging that parents learn a lot through many ways, many fail to see the priority from their children over the other ways. However, I am convinced that parents learn most from their children comparing with other way around. Foremost, educating children enables adults to though about their own behaviors. A child is usually a mirror of his/her parents because children can learn from their parents in many aspects, the way their parents dealing with friends, the manner their parents talking, even the words their parents abusing people. Therefore adults are able to find certain shortcomings that exist on their children as well as themselves. To be specific, if a child has a bad temper and always argues with other in an impolite manner, their parents might tell him/her that being patient and tolerant is a virtue. Meantime, it is this process that reminds adults themselves of similar things that they did. In this way, parents may try their best to be patient and tolerant. In addition, communication with children can help parents to keep up with the rapid development of the world. It is teenagers that are willing to pay close attention to many cutting-edge technology that usually not interest adults. By exchanging information concerned, parents are able to acquire knowledge that is prevalent recently.
