However, there are few empirical quantitative studies on urban-rural integration in China. Taking Longyang District of Baoshan City as an example, using the knowledge related statistics to explores the current situation, development characteristics and development problems of urban and rural development in Longyang District from the four aspects of population size and urbanization rate, difference of urban and rural development form, urban and rural development basic conditions and industrial development characteristics ，and propose the development path of urban and rural integration: ① To establish the concept of urban-rural integration development of the concept of multi-regulation and unity; ② strengthen ecological protection, implement space control; ③Optimize urban and rural structure, strengthen urban-rural integration; ④Realize urban-rural
