Safety - Protective clothing Persons working on the workpiece during the welding process must wear suitable protective clothing, which must have the following characteristics: flame-retardant insulated and dry covering the entire body, undamaged and in good condition safety helmet, face protection Trousers without turned-up cuffs Safety - Face protection Always wear face protection to prevent eye flash. The filter level of the protective glass must be appropriate for the process and current. If eye flash occurs, apply eyedrops. In the event of severe injury, consult an eye doctor. Safety – Welding torch, component Welding wire being fed out of the welding torch represents a high risk of injury! Your hand could be impaled, and your face and eyes could be injured. The torch must therefore always be turned away from the body. Do not touch the workpiece during or after welding  risk of burn injuries! Slag may be ejected from workpieces as they cool. It is therefore important to wear the stipulated protective equipment also during post-processing of workpieces, and to ensure that other persons are adequately protected. Safety – Dangers from mains current / welding current Electric shocks can be deadly. Any electric shock must be considered a danger to life. Do not touch live parts inside or outside the equipment. All cables must be securely fastened, undamaged, insulated and adequately dimensioned. Loose connections, scorched, damaged or underdimensioned cables must be exchanged immediately. Before working on the equipment, switch it off and unplug the mains connector. Safety - Health Fumes generated during welding contain gases and vapors which are hazardous to health. Welding fumes contain substances which under certain circumstances may cause birth defects and/or cancer. Keep your head away from any welding fumes and gases that are generated. Do not breathe in fumes or harmful gases; extract them from the work area by mea
