Methods 80 puerperants with pregnancy at term and single birthed were randomly divided into 4 groups with 20 each . M0 group as control , intravenous injection of 2ml normal sodium ;in M1 group, intravenous injection of /kg Midazolam; in M2 group, intravenous injection of /kg Midazolam; in M3 group, intravenous injection of /kg Midazolam. Then epidural anesthesia was performed 5 min later . The change of a saturation of blood oxygen (SPO2)、respiration rate (RR)、mean arterial pressure（MAP）、heart rate（HR）before drug administration（T1）、and 5 min （T2）、15min （T3）、30min（T4）after drug administration were recorded . Anxiety visual analog test(AVAT)、serum glucose 、hydrocortisone were lower than those in the other groups . There were not significant difference between Apgar score of 1 and 5 min 、neurological and adaptive capacity score(NACS) 1 day after operation in the 4 groups of newborn. Conclusio Intravenous injection of small dose Midazolam before epidural anesthesia has a good antianxiety and anti-stress reaction effects on puerperants as preanesthetic medication in uterine-incision delivery operation , there is no side effects on newborn and the suggesting dose is /kg. 【key Words】 Midazolam uterine-incision delivery preanesthetic medication stress reaction, hydrocortisone 术前用药可减轻病人的忧虑、恐惧，缓解其应激反应，使麻醉的结果更完善。产科麻醉较少术前用药，因产妇使用药物可通过胎盘影响到胎儿。咪达唑仑作为一种新型的苯二氮卓类药物，具有与剂量相关的抗焦虑、镇静催眠、遗忘、抗惊厥及肌肉松弛作用，并有水溶性，起效快，作用时间短，对呼吸、心血管功能影响较小，能透过胎盘，但透过量少于安定等优点。作者将小剂量的咪达
