It was installed in DESY, Hamburgs first ring accelerator. Inside the bubble chamber there was a tank filled with liquid hydrogen. Tiny particles flying through the tank make the hydrogen boil. Hydrogen vaporizes and forms small bubbles along the paths of the particles. These traces were photographed.
