Dear Valued Customer: Over the years, EMC has introduced leading edge technology in products that provide enterprise wide solutions to our customers’ information technology needs. As enterprise technology and customer requirements have evolved, so too have EMC’s products. In line with this evolution, EMC continues to market and support ScaleIO. If you have not already done so, EMC strongly recommends that you implement the latest release as soon as possible. For those ScaleIO licenses covered by a current EMC maintenance contract, you can obtain the latest release at no separate charge. Please refer to the Release Notes on Support Zone. If your license is not currently covered by an EMC maintenance contract and you wish to reinstate ScaleIO maintenance, please contact your Renewal Sales Account Manager. In addition, EMC is announcing the schedule on which support and maintenance for some older releases of ScaleIO will be terminated so that we may concentrate our efforts on the current technology. Implementing the latest version of ScaleIO (especially for those using ScaleIO Version 1.20.x, 1.21.x, 1.30.x, 1.31.x, and 1.32.x) permits use of the latest features and functionality.
