Mo yan used a large number of space to depict the female in the novel, eulogizing the infinite strength and glorious image of the female.Through a series of depiction, the novel shows us how unselfish and fearless the great mother is., it also expresses the sympathy of Mo yan for women, and in the meanwhile, compliment and worship. The paper will be divided into three parts to analyze the images of the females headed by Mother Xuan’er Lu.
