Service Kit Instructions 15 Series pump Pump housing and charge pump housing relief cut A relief cut was added to the pump housing and charge pump housing in December, 2006. The old versions without the relief cut are no longer available. For proper operation, both the pump housing and the charge pump housing must be of the same type – either both do not have the relief cut or both do have the relief cut. Therefore, if one of the old housings is replaced in service, the other housing must also be replaced. For example, if a charge pump housing is replaced with a new one that has the relief cut, the pump housing must also be replaced. Caution: If a combination of old and new housings are used, the pump will fail within a very short time. See Service Bulletin 2006-029 for further information.
