Specification of driving gear forging for rail transport 1 ScopeThis document specifies the classification, smelting, forging, products and determination of driving gear forgings for rail transport, as well as the body sampling diagrams corresponding to gear forgings with different shapes. This document is applicable to the manufacturing and inspection of gear forgings used for traction drives on rail-oriented transportation equipment (high-speed EMUs, locomotives and urban rail trains, etc.).
