OnedayVimalaandhernewfriend,Mary,wereplayingatschool.MarywasaveryquietandshygirlbutVimalalikedher.Whilejumping,Marysglassesfelloffandbroke.Justthenthebellrangandtheyhadtohurrytotheirscienceclass.

“Ohdear,Imgoingtobeasblindasabat.Butwedbetterhurry.ItsMissLeesclass，”saidMary.

Atthestartofthelesson,MissLeeexplainedhowtodotheexperimenttoproducelargecrystals.Thenshestartedtoquestiontheclass.NobodydaredtogiveawronganswerbecauseMissLeewasaverystrictteacher.MissLeeheldupaclamp(夹具)andsaid,“Whatdoweusethisfor?Whatdowecallit？”Allthegirlslookeddown,whileshelookedattheirheadsforonetopickon.“Mary？”shefinallyasked.
