establishesthetopicsforstudybytheITU-Tstudygroupswhich,inturn,produceRecommendationson

thesetopics.

TheapprovalofITU-TRecommendationsiscoveredbytheprocedurelaiddowninWTSAResolution1.

InsomeareasofinformationtechnologywhichfallwithinITU-Tspurview,thenecessarystandardsare

preparedonacollaborativebasiswithISOandIEC.
