GEMhasbeenpositionedasamarketdesignedtoGEM
accommodatesmallandmid-sizedcompaniestowhicha
higherinvestmentriskmaybeattachedthanothercompanies
listedontheStockExchange.Prospectiveinvestorsshouldbe
awareofthepotentialrisksofinvestinginsuchcompaniesand
shouldmakethedecisiontoinvestonlyafterdueandcareful
consideration.
GiventhatthecompanieslistedonGEMaregenerallysmallGEM
andmid-sizedcompanies,thereisariskthatsecuritiestradedGEM
onGEMmaybemoresusceptibletohighmarketvolatilitythan
securitiestradedontheMainBoardoftheStockExchangeGEM
