ISO1897-11标准在工业用酚、邻苯二酚、间苯二酚、对苯二酚、脂肪酸和二甲氧基乙烷和Xylenols中测试的实验方法—部分一：结晶点的测定。ISO1897-11中的主要测试项目为：在包括过氧化氢和其他相关溶剂的情况下，测量这些物质在特定的温度下开始形成晶体的温度点。具体到某一种物质，比如邻苯二酚，当温度上升到一定值时，它开始结晶，此时，邻苯二酚的熔点就成为了其结晶点。此标准主要是为了控制工业生产过程中所使用的化学物质的质量和纯度。
注意：Cresylicacid（脂肪酸）和xylenols在此标准中不包含在内，所以不涉及其结晶点的测定。
