Thisisafixed,prioritytype,pressurecompensatedflowcontrolvalve,wheretheflowfromport3willremainconstantregardlessofthepressure
differenceacrossthevalve,whileexcessflowpassesfromport1to2.Flowentersatport1andpassesacrossafixedorificeinthespool,whichcreates
apressuredrop.Thiscausesthespooltomovebackagainstthespring,whichthenrestrictstheoutletflow.Port1thenopenstoport2toallowexcess
flowtopass.Theregulatedflowwillalwaystakepriorityandremainsconstantiftheworkingpressureishigherineitherport2orport3.
