■GENERALDESCRIPTION
TheXC6242seriesofproductsconsistsofregulatorswhichhaveachievedanultra-lowsupplycurrentof0.8μA,andcanbeused
forchargingrechargeablebatteriescompatiblewithCV(ConstantVoltage)charging.
TheoutputvoltageoftheseproductsisinternallyfixedtobecompatiblewiththeCVvoltagesofrechargeablebatteries.
Eveniffluctuationsaretakenintoaccount,theCVvoltagesofrechargeablebatterieswillnotbeexceeded,sochargingcanbe
performedwithoutconcern.
Theadditionofadiodeontheinputsidealsoallowsthesinkcurrentflowingfromarechargeablebatterytotheregulatortobe
suppressedto0.24μA,whichcangreatlycontributetoextendingthebattery-driventimewhilechargingisnotbeingperformed.
TheCEfunctioncanturntheregulatoroutputoffandputtheICintoashutdownstatewherethesupplycurrentcanbesubstantially
reduced.
