Themanfrozeforasecond,butwhenhesawtheskinnyboyhebreathedasighofrelief.“Hey,kid,putthatdown.Itwasmyhome.Myparentsusedtolivehereandmyfather’swatchwashere,”heexplained,tryingtoliftafloorboard.
