TheEpsonNet802.11gWirelessExt.PrintServerisawireless

networkinterfacethatconnectstotheUSBportofanEpsondevice

(suchasprinterorall-in-one).Withthisnetworkinterface,you

cancreateawirelessconnectionbetweentheEpsondeviceanda

localareanetworkusingtheIEEE802.11b/gcommunication

standard.

Aradiosignalistransmittedoverthewirelessnetworkwhenyou

sendajobtothedevice.Thenthedeviceprintsorscansthefile

whenthenetworkinterfacereceivestheradiosignaldirectlyfrom

acomputerorfromanaccesspoint.

ThisnetworkinterfaceisWi-Ficertifiedforinteroperabilitywith

other802.11-compliantproducts.

Becausethenetworkinterfacesupportsmultipleprotocolsand

automaticallydetectsprotocolsonyournetwork,youcanprint

fromMicrosoft®Windows®,Apple®Macintosh®,UNIX®,and

IBM®OS/2applications.

UseEpsonNetEasyInstalltoeasilyconfigurethenetwork

interfaceforuseonaTCP/IPnetwork.Ifyouareusingan

all-in-one,EpsonNetEasyInstallinstallsthedriversonyour

computer.YoucanusethedeviceontheTCP/IPnetworkatonce.

ForprotocolssuchasTCP/IP,NetWare,NetBEUI,AppleTalk®,

IPP,andSNMP,youcanuseEpsonNetConfig,theconfiguration

utilityprovidedwithyourproduct,toquicklyandeasily

configurethenetworkinterfacetousetheseprotocols.
