ThisStandardwaspreparedintheformatofthepresentStandardsbyrevisingthe1994versionofJISB

0031.TermsandreferenceswidelyusedinNissanMotorCo.Ltd.areaddedasshownwithdashed

underlines.

1.SCOPE

ThisStandardstipulatestheindicationmethodofrequirementsrelatingthesurfacetextureusingsymbols

ondrawingsusedintheindustrialfields.However,forpartstowhichspecialdrawingindicationmethods

areused,suchasatoothsurfaceofagearandaflankofascrew(withatopandabottomwheremaleand

femalescrewsactuallyengage),theindicationmethodofthesurfacetextureshouldconformtothespecific

drawingstandardforeachcase.

1.Fortheindicationmethodofanaverageroughness(Ra75)*ofacenterline,refertotheAppendixA.
