NOTE:Obsoletefinishspecificationsarenotshowninthisstandard.Ifafinishisreferencedthatisnot

showninthisstandard,theusershouldcontactthelocalFastenerEngineeringOfficefordirection.

2.APPLICATION

RecommendedUsageincludedinthedescriptionofindividualfinishesareintendedforinformationonly.

3.DESIGNATION

ThefinishrequiredonastandardorutilitypartisdesignatedbyaddingtheappropriateFinishCodetothe

PartNumberasasuffixwhenapartisreleased.FINISHCODESSHALLNOTBEINCLUDEDINTHEPART

NUMBERBLOCKONAUTILITYPARTDRAWING.

TheFinishCodeisobtainedfromClause6,DETAILEDFINISHDESCRIPTIONSANDREQUIREMENTS.

TheFinishCodeconsistsofletterSfollowedbyanumberanddesignationalphacodes(exceptSSW).

ThereleaseforastandardorutilitypartisincompletewithouttheadditionofafinishcodetothePartNumber.
