FortheAM3000servomotors,thestatorisnotwoundoutsidethehousingbutinsidethroughaneedlewinder.

Withpolewinding,thecopperwireisinclosecontactwiththeironcore.Thewireinsulationcanbemuchthinner,sincenopressingofthewindinghead

isrequired.Thesemeasuresleadtoasignificantincreaseintheproportionof“active“copper,whichdeterminesthetorquevalue,sothatthe

performanceoftheAM3000seriesisapprox.25–35

%higher.Anadditionalbenefitisthatthemotorsaresignificantlyshorterthanconventional

models.

Sealedwinding

TheAM3000servomotorsarecharacterisedbyanextremelylowmomentofinertia,robustdesignandhighoverloadcapacity.Thewindingissealedin

ordertoeliminateairbetweentheindividualwires,sincethethermalresistanceofairishigherthanthatofepoxyresin.Thisfurtherincreases

mechanicalresilience,e.g.incaseofvibrations.

TheAM3000SynchronousServomotorsareavailablewitheightdifferentflangesizes.Foreachsize,oncetheflangesizehasbeendefined,thereis

scopeforvariationinthelength.Themotorsareofferedwithtorquesbetween0.18and180Nmandwithawiderangeofnominalspeeds,sothatfor

eachapplicationandgearratiothemotorwiththeoptimumdimensionscanbeselected.
