AL24xx|LinearServomotors

The3-phasesynchronousLinearServomotorsAL2400expandthesmallerperformanceproductrange.TheseLinearServomotorsareparticularlysuitable

fortightinstallationsituations.Thecoilunitcontainsagrooved,laminatedcorewithinlaidcopperwindings.Itisgenerallyusedasthemovingpart.The

magnetplatecontainsthesteelplatetowhichthepermanentmagnetsarefixed.

TheAL2400seriesconsistsofthreedifferentmotors,allhavingexactlythesamewidthof51mm.Thismeansthatallthemotorscanbeoperatedusing

thesamemagnetplates.Therearethreedifferentlengthsofmagnetplatesthatcanbecombinedinanydesiredway.Themagnetplatesarefullysealed

andthereforehaveanalmostperfectlylevelandrobustsurface.

Thecoilunitsarealsopotted,satisfyprotectionclassIP64,andarethereforesuitableforuseinaggressiveenvironments.Coilunitsarefittedwitha3

mcablebundleandoptionallywithpre-assembledconnectors,sothattheycanbequicklyconnectedtotheconnectorboxortheServoDrivevia

pluggedconnections.Thisgreatlyreducesthedifficultyofimplementingthecabling,andmakesasignificantcontributiontoavoidingerrors.

IncombinationwiththeEtherCATServoDriveAX5000,theAL2xxxserieslinearmotorsareparticularlysuitablefordynamicmovementswherehigh

accelerationisrequiredovershortdistances.

AlllinearmotorsoftheseriesAL2xxxhavethesamemagnetpitch(24mm).
