Thesepressuretransmittersaredesignedforlevelmeasurementswherethehighestaccuracy
isrequired.
DigitalOutputofTransmitter
ThisSeriesisbasedonthestable,piezoresisitivetransducerandamicro-processorelectronics
withintegrated16bitA/Dconverter.Temperaturedependenciesandnon-linearitiesofthe
sensoraremathematicallycompensated.WiththeREAD30softwareandtheKELLERcable
K-107,thecalculatedpressurecanbedisplayedonaPalmtop,LaptoporPC.TheREAD30
softwarealsoallowstherecordingofpressuresignalsandthegraphicdisplayonthePC.Up
to128transmitterscanbehookedtogethertoaBus-system.
TransmitterwithAnalogOutput
Themicro-processorintegratesaD/Aconverterof16bitforanalogsignaloutputsof4…20mA
or0…10V.Theoutputrateis100Hz(adjustable).Thedigitaloutputisavailableonall
transmitterswithanalogoutput.
Programming
WiththeKELLERsoftwareREAD30andPROG30,aRS485converter(i.e.K-102,K-104or
K-107fromKELLER)andaPC(Laptop),thepressurecanbedisplayed,theunitschanged,anew
gainorzeroset.Theanalogoutputcanbesettoanyrangewithinthecompensatedrange.
Theleveltransmittersareavailableintwodifferentversions:
•PAA-36XWAbsolutePressure,ZeroatVacuum
Thisprobeisappliedwhentheatmosphericpressureismeasuredbyaseparatebarometer
andwhenthewaterleveliscalculatedasthedifferencebetweentheabsolutevalueandthe
ambientpressure.
•PR-36XWRelativePressure,ZeroatambientPressure
Thisprobeisfittedwithdurablecablewithanintegralventtubetotheatmosphere.
