thread.Apparentlybeforethisitwascausingalongerframeatregularintervals(10secondsby

default).

Thiswasmodifiedinversion4.962sothatitterminatedproperlywhenthesessioncloses.In

4.961itmightsometimesbeengagedinexaminingtheprocessmemorywhen,infact,mostofit

wasclosedandfreed,causingcrashesstating“BEX”and“FSUIPC4_Unloaded”.

Notethatabuginthis4.961changewhichmadethe“Quiet”optionforthecheckactthe

sameasturningitoffwasfixedin4.962a.

2.ThisversionsupportsPrepar3Dversion3.4withHotFix3applied(version9868).

3.The“Startingeverythingnow”phaseofFSUIPCinitialisationisnowdelayed,especiallyonP3D,

toallowmoretimeforthesimtofinishloadingeverything.Sometimestherewassuchalong

gapthatFSUIPCwasseeingextendedSimConnecttimeouts,andresortedtoclosingand

reconnectingtoSimConnect.Thisresultedinanevenlongerinitialisationperiod!

4.TheprocessorcoreaffinitycannowbesetintheFSUIPC4.INI[General]sectionforFSUIP4

generalthreads,andseparatelyforLuaplug-inthreads.Theparametersare:

Thevalue0,defaulted,leavestheaffinitiesthesameastheprocess(ietheflightsimulator

affinity).NormalFSUIPCactivitieshavetoruninthemainsimulatorthreadinanycase,sothe

masksetheredoesnotaffectallofwhatFSUIPCdoes.

Thevaluecanbegivenindecimal,or,precededbyan‘x’,inhexadecimal,andtheprevious

valueandthenewvalueareloggedinbothcases.
